What Material Centers does
Understand the screen before creating or changing records.
Material Centers represent the physical places where your organization stores or manages material, such as a warehouse, godown, storage location or other inventory center.
Each center can keep its own location, manager and contact information together with total capacity, current utilization and optional warning or critical thresholds.
The screen combines organization-created and system centers. Protected system records can remain visible for normal use even when editing or deletion is restricted.
Create or configure
Follow the screen flow in order.
01. Open Add Material Center
Use the first tab to create a new center. When an existing editable center is opened for editing, VauPrime returns you to this same form with its saved values.
02. Enter center and location details
Add the material center name, location, city and state. Description can be used to add extra context about the center.
03. Assign the primary manager
Enter the primary manager and contact number so the responsible person is visible with the center.
04. Configure storage capacity
Set total capacity, choose the capacity unit and enter current utilization. VauPrime calculates the utilization percentage from these values.
05. Set optional thresholds and image
Warning and critical percentages are optional. You can also add one center image for easier identification.
06. Save the material center
Choose Save Material Center. After a successful save, the center is refreshed in the existing centers list.

View details
Open a center to review location, contact and complete storage-capacity information.
Edit
Loads an editable center into the Add Material Center form. Protected centers show a warning instead of opening edit mode.
Enable / Disable
Changes whether the material center is enabled while keeping the record available for management.
Delete
Shows a confirmation first. Protected centers cannot be deleted, and deletion can be blocked when the center has active inventory or pending transfers.
Important notes and common issues
Use these checks when an action is unavailable or a save does not complete.
Protected center
If VauPrime says a center is protected, its edit or delete permission is intentionally disabled. Continue using the center without trying to recreate the system record.
Cannot delete because the center is in use
Clear the related active inventory or pending transfer dependency first, then retry deletion.
Capacity status
Utilization remains Normal until it reaches your warning threshold, then becomes Warning; reaching the critical threshold changes it to Critical.
Center list does not load
Confirm that you are signed in and that the correct organization is selected, then refresh the list.
