User-focused documentation: this guide explains what a person can do in VauWrite, how the current controls behave and what to expect during normal document work.
01

Insert a table

Choose Insert Table, then enter how many rows and columns you want. The current editor accepts up to 20 rows and 12 columns when creating a table.

02

Edit the table structure

Place the caret in a table cell to use + Row, − Row, + Col, − Col and Delete table controls.

03

Deleting rows or columns

Removing the final remaining row or final remaining column removes the table rather than leaving an unusable empty structure.

04

Tables from Word

When importing a compatible .docx file, VauWrite can convert Word tables into editable VauWrite tables, including nested table structures where readable.
