Accepted file extensions
The current file picker accepts .xlsx, .xls, .xlsm and .xlsb formats plus the common Excel MIME types.

Conversion model
VauSheet parses the Excel file, then imports structured content into the active VauSheet workbook model. The original Excel binary is not the live storage format used for ongoing VauSheet editing.

Verify after import
Review formulas, formatting, merges, sheet structure and unsupported Excel-specific features after import. VauSheet only guarantees behavior implemented by its own model/runtime.
