Documentation rule: this VauSheet section describes the current implemented product behavior. It avoids claiming full Microsoft Excel parity or live-cursor collaboration where the current build does not provide it.
01

CSV import flow

CSV import reads the selected file as text, parses it into a matrix and imports that matrix into the active sheet.

01

Open Import / Export

Use the Sheet group in the top tool strip.

Expected result

The import/export menu opens.

02

Choose Import CSV

Select a .csv file from your device.

Expected result

VauSheet reads and parses the CSV text.

03

Review active sheet

Confirm rows and columns mapped as expected.

Expected result

The parsed matrix is now in the active sheet state.

02

Workbook scope

CSV is a flat matrix format, so it does not preserve a full multi-sheet workbook, formulas/formatting metadata or VauSheet-specific settings the way workbook JSON can.
