Documentation rule: this VauSheet section describes the current implemented product behavior. It avoids claiming full Microsoft Excel parity or live-cursor collaboration where the current build does not provide it.
01

Not full Excel parity

Excel files can be imported, but VauSheet only executes formulas and spreadsheet behaviors implemented by its own runtime/model. Unsupported Excel formulas/features may not reproduce exactly.

02

Not live-cursor coauthoring

Multi-device version synchronization is implemented, but live presence, shared cursors and CRDT/OT per-keystroke editing are not part of version 1.0.1.

03

No native Excel export in the current menu

The current Import / Export menu provides CSV and VauSheet JSON exports. Excel import is supported, but the menu does not currently expose an .xlsx export action.

04

Browser environment

VauSheet depends on modern browser capabilities, network access for cloud synchronization and browser storage for recovery checkpoints.
