Opening the form
A respondent opens the published link and sees the title, description and fields using the selected body design and primary color.

Access rules
If Require Vau Account is enabled, anonymous visitors cannot submit. When the form is open to anonymous visitors, normal public access does not require sign-in.

Field rules follow the form configuration
Required questions must be completed. Text fields respect configured character limits. Two-choice checkbox fields follow Only one or Both allowed.

When the total response limit is reached
If the owner set a Response limit and the recorded response count reaches it, VauForms stops accepting new responses and shows that the form has reached its response limit.

Submitting
When the respondent taps Submit response, VauForms checks the configured rules before accepting the response. After a successful submission, the configured confirmation screen is shown.
