User-focused documentation: this guide explains VauForms from the perspective of the person creating, sharing or responding to a form.
01

A dedicated settings screen

Settings is now its own workspace instead of being presented as a transitional part of the older editor. Use Back to editor when you want to return to field building.

02

Access & responses

This section brings the main collection controls together.

Require Vau Account · anonymous visitors cannot submit when enabled
Collect email · keep respondent email when available from their Vau Account
Show progress · display progress while respondents complete the form
Multiple responses · configure whether the same signed-in respondent may submit again
Response limit · set a maximum total number of submissions or leave blank for Unlimited
03

Response limit status

The Settings screen shows the current response count and can indicate when the configured total limit has been reached. A form at its limit no longer accepts new responses.

04

Confirmation with preview

Edit the Confirmation title and Confirmation message in After submission. A message preview shows the success-screen structure beside the fields.

05

Appearance previews

Choose Classic, Soft or Minimal from visual preview cards, then choose the Primary color used as the public-form accent.

06

Public form shortcut

When the form is published, Settings provides a Public form shortcut so you can open the live respondent view in a new tab and verify the result.

07

Unsaved changes and Save changes

The redesigned screen tracks dirty state. After changing a setting, use Save changes; the screen confirms when the settings are Saved. Changes affect the live form after saving.
