What is Employee Management?

Purpose and current behavior of this feature.

Employee Management is the central VauPrime screen for maintaining employee master records inside the selected organization. The current screen combines employee creation and the existing employee list in one two-tab workspace.

Selecting an employee can open the existing Salary Panel. That panel is separate from the Add Employee form and is where salary configuration, attendance and employee-ledger related work is handled. Attendance is an existing part of this workflow, not a newly added field on the employee form.

Android UI structure

Screen-by-screen structure, tabs, lists, taps and action behavior on Android.

Top layoutAndroid uses the Global Header and the Employee Management content area without the Windows left sidebar.
Tab 1 — Add EmployeeA vertically scrollable form. The sections appear in this order: Employee Details → Employee ID → Address Details → Salary Details → bottom action buttons.
Employee DetailsFull Name is shown first. Email and Phone share a row; Joining Date and Department share a row; Qualification and Experience share a row; Group Account and Position are shown together below.
Department pickerTap Department to open a selection sheet containing enabled departments. The picker can show department code, manager or description as supporting information.
Group Account / PositionBoth are selection controls rather than free typing. Position opens the current position picker; Group Account opens the group selection sheet.
Employee ID sectionChoose an ID type such as Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID, Employee Card or Other, then enter the related ID reference/details.
Address DetailsContains Address, City, State and Country fields for employee location/contact records.
Salary DetailsThe Add Employee form does not directly manage salary. It shows a note directing the user to Salary Panel → Salaries for salary management.
Bottom buttonsCancel exits the current screen. Save Employee saves the record; while saving, the button displays progress states such as Saving, Processing and Almost Done.
Tab 2 — Employee ListShows the Android centralized employee list with Search and Refresh. Search works across employee name, email, phone, role and department.
List cardEach built-in card uses employee Name as the title, Position as the subtitle and Salary as the trailing value, with a person icon.
Tap cardA normal tap expands or collapses the built-in list card, revealing the configured employee actions.
Long pressLong-pressing an employee opens the employee Salary Panel directly.
Expanded — PanelOpens the selected employee Salary Panel, where the existing salary, attendance and ledger-related employee tools are available.
Expanded — EditSwitches back to Add Employee and fills the form with the selected employee data for editing.
Expanded — DeleteOpens a delete confirmation before permanently removing the employee record.
Empty stateWhen no employees exist, the list shows “No Employees Found” with guidance to add the first employee.

Windows UI structure

Desktop layout, wide-screen controls, tables and row actions on Windows.

Desktop shellWindows uses the persistent Window Global Sidebar on the left, the Global Header above, and the Employee Management workspace in the main content area.
Two tabsThe same Add Employee and Employee List tabs are available on Windows.
Add formThe form keeps the same section order as Android, but wide rows use more horizontal space. Joining Date, Department, Qualification and Experience can appear together in the desktop row.
Keyboard flowOn Windows the Full Name field receives initial focus. The form wires focus between major fields to support keyboard-oriented data entry.
Employee List tableWindows renders a desktop table instead of expandable mobile cards.
Table columnsName · Contact · Employee Type · Position · Department · Status. Status is visually shown as active/inactive.
Search / RefreshThe desktop Existing view includes employee search and Refresh using the same current employee data.
Row clickClicking an employee row opens the Salary Panel for that employee.
Edit actionLoads the selected employee into Add Employee and moves the screen to the first tab for editing.
Delete actionShows a confirmation sheet before deletion; after successful deletion the employee list is refreshed.

The current screen requires Group Account for Self employees.
The current screen requires Position for Self employees.
An organization must be selected so the employee can be saved in the correct workspace.
Employee creation can be limited by the current subscription plan; when the limit is reached VauPrime shows an upgrade prompt.
Only enabled departments are offered in the Department selection sheet.

Important behavior and notes

Details worth knowing before using the feature in daily work.

Employee Management itself has only two main tabs: Add Employee and Employee List.
Attendance already exists inside the employee Salary Panel workflow; it is not an Add Employee form field.
Salary is intentionally not edited in the Add Employee Salary Details card. The screen directs users to Salary Panel for salary management.
Android employee cards are expandable: tap expands actions, while long press opens the employee panel.
Windows uses a table and row click opens the employee panel instead of the Android expandable-card interaction.
Editing reuses the Add Employee form rather than opening a separate edit page.
