Review saved document versions and safely bring an earlier version back into the editor without treating the old copy as a destructive overwrite.
What this guide covers
Quick facts
History lists saved versions with their version number and date/time.
Select a historical version. VauWrite asks for confirmation before loading it into the editor.
The historical content becomes the current unsaved editor state. When you save it, it becomes a new saved version rather than silently erasing the fact that newer versions existed.
Version history is useful after accidental edits, large rewrites or when you need to compare your current direction with an earlier saved state.
