User-focused documentation: this guide explains what a person can do in VauWrite, how the current controls behave and what to expect during normal document work.
01

Open Version history

History lists saved versions with their version number and date/time.

02

Load an earlier version

Select a historical version. VauWrite asks for confirmation before loading it into the editor.

03

How restore works

The historical content becomes the current unsaved editor state. When you save it, it becomes a new saved version rather than silently erasing the fact that newer versions existed.

04

When to use it

Version history is useful after accidental edits, large rewrites or when you need to compare your current direction with an earlier saved state.
