Document title
Edit the title directly in the top bar. VauWrite keeps the Dashboard title aligned with the name you use in the editor.

Autosave while you work
When online, VauWrite schedules an automatic save shortly after you make changes, so normal writing does not require pressing Save after every edit.

Manual Save
Use Save whenever you want to explicitly commit the current document immediately. Ctrl/Cmd + S also triggers Save.

Save status
The editor can show states such as Unsaved changes, Saving… and Saved so you know whether your latest changes have been committed.

If a newer version exists
If VauWrite reports “Newer version exists — reload”, another newer copy has already been saved. Reload the document before continuing so you do not keep editing an older version.
