User-focused documentation: this guide explains what a person can do in VauWrite, how the current controls behave and what to expect during normal document work.
01

Drag an image

Press and hold an image briefly, then drag it to reposition it. VauWrite can move images between pages as well as within the current page.

02

Floating images

Images set Behind text or In front of text behave as floating page objects rather than normal inline content.

03

Alignment guides

While moving floating images, VauWrite can snap near page edges or center positions and show alignment guides to help placement.

04

Undo and Redo for image edits

When an image is active, recent image operations have their own undo/redo handling so actions such as placement and visual changes can be reversed during the editing session.

05

Image undo shortcuts

Ctrl/Cmd + Z performs Undo. Redo can use Ctrl/Cmd + Y or Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z depending on your platform.
