Merge a range
Select multiple cells, then use Merge from Layout. VauSheet records merged ranges as part of the sheet model.

Unmerge
When the current selection overlaps an existing merged range, use Unmerge to restore independent cells.

Use with structured data
Avoid merging cells inside tables that you intend to sort, filter or query as regular records; merged presentation is best kept for headings and layout blocks.
