Documentation rule: this VauSheet section describes the current implemented product behavior. It avoids claiming full Microsoft Excel parity or live-cursor collaboration where the current build does not provide it.
01

Build a simple table

Use the grid like a conventional spreadsheet: labels across a header row and records down subsequent rows.

01

Select A1

Click the first cell.

Expected result

A1 becomes the active cell.

02

Type a heading

Enter a text heading and commit it.

Expected result

The heading is stored in A1.

03

Move right

Use Tab or the right arrow key.

Expected result

Focus moves to the next column.

04

Add records

Continue entering values down rows.

Expected result

The sheet becomes a structured table that can later be filtered or queried.

02

Save awareness

Edits update the local workbook immediately. Cloud save is then queued through the synchronization layer; a local checkpoint is also maintained for recovery.
