User-focused documentation: this guide explains VauPrime Lite from the perspective of the person managing daily accounting and business records.
01

When to use Journal

Use a Journal entry for accounting adjustments where a normal Sale, Purchase, Payment or Receipt does not represent the transaction correctly.

02

Choose accounts carefully

Journal entries move value between accounting heads, so verify the selected accounts and amounts before saving.

03

Explain the adjustment

Use narration or description fields when available so the reason for the journal remains understandable later.

04

Check it in Day Book

After saving, use the Day Book or relevant ledger to confirm the adjustment appears in the expected account history.
