User-focused documentation: this guide explains what a person can do in VauWrite, how the current controls behave and what to expect during normal document work.
01

Folders

Create folders and move documents into them from the document row. Opening a folder filters the Dashboard to documents assigned to that folder.

02

Deleting a folder

Deleting a folder removes the folder itself; documents are moved back to the general document view rather than being deleted with the folder.

03

Recent and Starred

Recent helps you return to documents you opened recently. Starred gives you a manually curated shortcut to important documents.

04

Trash and restore

Moving a document to Trash does not immediately remove it permanently. From Trash you can Restore it or choose permanent deletion.

05

Permanent deletion

Delete forever cannot be undone from the VauWrite interface, so use it only when you are sure the document is no longer required.

Use Restore when you only moved a document to Trash by mistake.
